Hi Dear Blog Readers...
I have been off of work half of the week and it felt wonderful. Just wonderful.
I met Ruth for breakfast on Thursday and we talked about knitting...a lot! She has done a lot of knitting, and I have been so busy I have only been talking about it.
Managed a couple of repeats on the shawl. Once the increases are done, you knit several repeats and then start decreasing.
Ruth is very close to being done with her Baby Fir jacket. She is going to make a hat with the same yarn next.
Martha finished up a pair of socks she has been working on for a bit. The socks are from the same yarn ball, one end is pulled from the inside and one the out side!
The yellow sweater is made of GMS Cotton Comfort yarn, it is the Deco Lace Pullover by Jeri Riggs pattern.
Martha said it's easier to concentrate since she is not working for the summer. It's going to be beautiful!
In other news:

I like those shawls where you increase to a certain point and then DECREASE. What lovely knitting but the pictures of your friend and family are the best. I enjoyed that book as well. Sometimes I don't think we talk enough about the power of forgiveness. I also liked that the characters were kind to each other.
glad you had some time off. Look at you having fun with the kids!! Life is good. As always the knitting is grand.
