Hi Dear Blog Readers...
How was your week? Mine was quite uneventful since I started back to work on Monday. My work is so very busy. I'm exhausted at night. I remember when I would stay up late knitting...maybe when I retire.
I worked all week on Mason's scarf, carefully adding in the colors he chose. I had a couple FaceTime consults with him.
Pattern is a squishy ribbing. Multiple of 3 + 1. My scarf has 24 stitches.
It's 49" long.
Size 9 needle so it went fast.
Each row is Knit 2, Purl 1. End in Knit 1. Somehow it works. I'm not binding off until he sees it and we decide it's the right size.
Gray is carried with the new color. Each colorblock is 3.25". It reminds me of a funky Old Navy scarf. It was fun getting to the next then the next then the next color. Now Jayce wants one. Eeekkk I'm over it but they will only be little for so long and they get what they request..
Now to weave in all of the ends. Jane from Nebraska does not mind weaving...why don't we live closer!.
By the way, Jane and Karen both have very fun blogs that I read every week. Hi girls!
Ruth is working away on her beautiful pink Rolling Rock sweater. She is on the 2nd sleeve. It is going to be stunning on her!
Martha is making great progress on her Mulled Cider pattern by Baby Cocktails. She chose it because it used the same kind of yarn she had, Green Mountian Spinnery. The color is different than the green sweater she just finished. It's going to be so pretty!
In other news:
I got out to walk yesterday and today finally. It's been a while with the snow and rain and ice we've had. The wind storm on Friday was incredible. Too many so far this year already.
I have missed the early morning sunrise and hope to get out more now.

I bet it's hard getting back into the work groove after time off!!
You are right. They are only little once. The scarves look great though you are smart not to bind off and until the intended recipient thinks it is the right size.
