Hi Dear Blog readers....how quickly fall weather arrived on September 1st. Since we are not using the pool, I'm ok with it. The days have been mostly beautiful, and we finally have had a little rain.
I knit most of this sock on vacation. Driving to and from. Then finished up when we got home. I love the yarn. The color is not as coral as it is pink. I think I'm going to be able to start the 2nd sock in mostly the same color as the first....so they should be kinda twins.
I blocked the Candied Crescent shawlette. It's a nice length I think. Not sure if I will keep it or gift it. I have so many shawlettes, because I like to knit them. ha
Started the Waffle Pullover on vacation. Knit, and then ripped the short row section. I had some time to concentrate yesterday so was able to get the short rows done, and a few increases on the yoke. So far, so good. I really need to full brain power to knit this.
Ruth is moving along on her beautiful sweater.
Martha finished up her son in law's sweater. Baseball Jersey by Jared Flood. It’s published in Knits Men Want. She used Green Mountian Spinnery yarn, Alpaca Wool . The color is Rose Hips.
In other news:
Ruth is on vacation for just under two weeks. This is her view...what a wonderful place to knit!
Mason started Kindergarten this week. He loves it so far...yea!
I just finished this book. A slow moving drama...but good. Actually this book is based in a location that Ruth is currently staying....Northern New York.
Joe and I had a really nice few days away for Labor Day weekend. He caught quite a few fish over the days.
The lake was calm in the mornings, but really ramped up in the afternoons...enough that I did not get on the water much.
I'm so glad we could get out for the sunset the last night.
I'm off to start the 2nd sock, and watch the Buffalo Bills game. Have a great week dear blog readers.

Such beautiful knitting - all of it. I can just imagine the short rows in that waffle pullover. At least for me, some knitting is best done in daylight hours. Your sock is very pretty. The shawls and shawlettes do accumulate. I like to knit them too - they always fit.
holy smokes kindergarten! I love the shawl and of course the socks and all the knitting. I am on the last holiday sweater for the grands.
