Hi Dear Blog Readers...
It's been another stellar week weather-wise here in little Holley, NY. I think we got a little rain on Thursday. We need about a week of it. But the mornings have been perfect for walking and the days warm but not hot.
This week knitting has been a challenge. I have had to un-knit my sweater 3 times. I would get almost to the end of the over 300 stitch row and see a mistake. So I had to tink it back. On two rows of the pattern, it's slip stitch every other color. And when I find two stitches of the same color...uttt oohhhh.
It's one row away from putting it on a string and trying on to see if its long enough to take sleeves off.
Ruth is touring Europe on a river in a cruise boat! They flew into Amsterdam and are currently near Germany. She has been sending a few pics here and there. She has not knit much, which means she's too busy having fun! Here is her sock.
We got this flower in May and it bloomed once...then after that Joe called it lettuce. Now in September, its blooming like crazy. So pretty. I think maybe the summer heat was too much for it.
Jayce is so confident!
Jack's team, The Vikings lost today. He looks like a little linebacker in that shirt.
Charlotte and I went to Alpaca Farm days today. My pictures loaded backwards.. This was the 2nd farm we went to. They had chairs out so we could sit close and observe them. She liked it a lot.
This guy just got done rolling in leaves. His friends were hiding under a tree so we could not get that close.
I will never get tired of sunrise on my walks.Mason turned 5 on Monday. He just loves his birthday!A couple of pics Ruth sent from her cruise ship.
Have a good week dear blog readers.

you are really getting the extra knitting time with that project! I guess it's better than finishing the project then having to rip that all out (I have done this...)
What an eventful week for all of you. What darling photos of you and Charlotte. Here's hoping you have enough length to separate the sleeves from the body of the sweater. It is sure is pretty.
