What ?!@!@@!?????

Hi Dear Blog Readers.  Summer is over...what?!@@!!  How did that happen so fast?

Joe and I went to Oneida Lake last weekend and there was a bit of knitting.  A bit not much. I ordered some yarn for a sweater for Mason...hoping to get my knitting mojo back soon. This is the Lansbury shawl.  See how it is getting more narrow? I actually knit quite a bit but it does not look it.

Ruth is traveling...no updates from her this week.

Martha finished her StrikkeKaffe sweater by Tonje Horne.  The wool is the Russian camel and lace mohair from WEBS.    It is truly lovely. I have to say it feels like she knit this sweater in record time...especially with the modifications she made.  I just love it!

Here’s a close up of buttons. They are a basket weave pattern too.

Next is the frogging and straightening of wool my sister Janet gave me years ago.  Emma was using it for a sweater for old BF.  When they parted she lost interest in it naturally. So I frogged it soaked it and straightened it back out.  I have plenty for a great sweater. It might be better for Ruth, more her colors.

Last.y is my cowl I picked up for a quick project. It’s birthday kit from Ruth.  T

In other news:

As I said we went to Oneida Lake. My brother and sister in law came this time. Had so much fun.

And What???!@@$$#@  Joey and Casey are married. After all of the prep it is all done already.

Casey and Joey planned a spectacular wedding that was very personal and fun.  I wish I had more pictures

They wanted Mason in the wedding but it was not meant to be.  He looked so cute. He had a meltdown before the ceremony so he did not walk down the isle with Casey's niece who is 3 and her nephew who is 10 months.  Riley pulled Teagan in the wagon.  Mason was supposed to walk with  Riley.  He is kind of in between. Too young to understand to pull and too little to just sit in the wagon.  Casey's littles looks adorable!.

Casey looked like a princess...totally adorable.  Joey was kinda cute too!

They asked mom and dad to be unofficial wedding license signers.  I thought that was sooo special. The official one was mailed to the state and the best man and maid of honor signed those. Mom and dad felt so special all weekend.

My kids!!

Joey sang this song to Casey for the whole first dance.

Today I have done a lot of  meal prep and am soooo tired.  LOL

Have a wonderful week dear blog readers...
