Thankful

 Hi Dear Blog Readers,

As Thanksgiving approaches, I'm so thankful for so many things. I hope you all are too.

I am almost done with Mason's sweater!  yea. I hope to get one for Jayce done for Christmas. Fingers crossed.

I worked a few rows on the Sweet Chestnut Cowl...not many.

Ruth is also making a Sweet Chestnut cowl, in the colors that Martha made her just finished fluffy hat. It's really much nicer than mine..can't wait till you can see it. She is  traveling this week...more to come next week.

Martha is working on her new sweater...Harriet's Jacket. It will be very nice...love the colors.

In other news:

Charlotte is ONE!  She loved her birthday party..she has SO MUCH personality already!

Tiffany's boys continue to be adorable....and fun!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving dear blog readers....I hope you have a restful, knitful week!

Little Knitting Bits

 Hi Dear blog readers....

I had a super busy week at work, so not much knitting to share.

Got the first sleeve of Mason's sweater  done, and ready to start first yellow stripe on the 2nd one.

Ruth finished up her darling socks. Notice the fancy pattern on the cuff!

Martha is trying to decide which color to use for contract on her pretty socks.

In other news:

Charlotte stayed overnight last night. She loves playing with the kitchen. She will be ONE on Friday.  I kept singing Happy Birthday to  her so she is not scared when we are all singing to her on the big day.

Mason got a hair cut.

Mason on Friday: Mom call my hairdresser.

Tiffany: Why

Mason:  Because I have the hiccups and might not be able to sit still tomorrow.

LOLOLOL

And the big news:  Jayce got his first haircut.  I love how stoic he is just sitting there. Mason used to fuss terribly.

Have a good week dear blog readers....I hope we all get time to knit.

Moving Forward

 Hi Dear Blog Readers...

Knitting projects are moving forward this week.

The snowflakes are complete on Mason's sweater. He stopped by today and tried it on, and it fits. I was sure I would have to rip the sleeve out and make it smaller.  Yea!  So glad I can move forward now.

The Jason's cashmere hat is done.  The actual color is a little more cranberry than it looks in the picture. I have to block it yet.

Since the hat is done, I can move forward on the next Christmas present I want to make.

Sweet chestnut cowl.  I made a mistake reading the pattern so I'm tinking back two rows. Then I can move forward on it.

Ruth put her beautiful sweater down for a bit so she can make some socks for her sister (not Martha).

These darling socks are Lyne socks. Neighborhood fiber yarn in fog point color.  She will make a cowl after this then move forward with her sweater.

Martha is going to make this sweater in the Peace Fleece yarn - see below. Harriet's jacket looks so interesting....it will be really fun.

This is the Peace Fleece yarn swatch for the sweater.

Martha's new dog ate the pom off of her hat...ha!  Luckily the hat survived.

She is slowly moving forward on her cute socks.

In other news:

We had a little election this week. And it does not matter who I voted for, because all we can do now is Move Forward, and hope things will work out best for our country. We can never go back after all; this is something I have learned later in life.  Have a great week dear blog readers!

Day Knitting

 Hi Dear Blog Readers...

I had a busy week...but did get some knitting done. Miss Charlotte was here all day Monday and Wednesday...and she takes a 3-hour nap..so I could do some Day Knitting...yea!

I started a hat for my friend. Pattern is Jason's Cashmere Hat -- a free pattern on Ravelry. I have made this a couple of times before.  Did the ribbing in KTBL so it pops.  Just started cable patterning rows.

I was able to get the snowflake done on Mason's sweater. I can't really go further until I get his arm measurement.

Also did a lot of knitting on the sock. I could not decide what heel to do, so I will do an afterthought heel where the gray stripe is.

Ruth is zooming along on her beautiful Moonstruck Knits sweater.  She had to take some stitches out of the sleeve so it fit better.

Martha finished up her beautiful hat. Look at the detail in the stitches, and the little pop of beads!

Sparkling Cider hat.  It would make a great yoke sweater don't you think!

In other news:

The boys were Batman and  Robin for Halloween.

I love this picture...Batman is looking out for his little Robin

And we had a skeleton!

Charlotte loves to play with the kitchen when she is here. Big news this week..she is taking steps!

Her 1st birthday is Nov 22nd...

Have a good week dear blog readers...
