Fall came in like a lamb this weekend here in Western NY. Friday and Saturday were just beautiful. Today it was nice on my early morning walk, but got cold and damp after that. Now it's a cold drizzle out. Great knitting and football weather.
I was able to work a little on the ribbing of the sock. Have only one row of pattern so hopefully next week more to share on that.
Ruth has finally been able to put buttons on her Levenwick sweater! Gudrun Johnston for Brooklyn Tweed. Imbue yarn in Orchid colorway. and I think it takes it to a whole new beautiful level!
She finished up these socks for her hairdresser. Cute, huh!
Martha is working away on her chicken yarn socks. Beautiful colors.
Martha started a new sweater...Triticum cardigan by Anne Hanson. Bartlett yarn.

In other news:
This weekend was Alpaca Weekend in New York. I took Mason to two Alpaca (Palpaca) farms.
This lady was spinning and she let Mason use the pedal.

There were vendors at this farm and two little girls were selling "Make your own" succulent. Mason got to pick the color pot he wanted (yellow) put two stickers on the pot, and pick the color stones he wanted on it.
Mason and grampa picked pumpkins.
Mason looks at them every week when he comes over. He was excited to help pick them.

Jayce was such a good baby thru all of the birthday weekend. He is 5 months old today!

All of the knitting is lovely but that dusky purple sweater is just beautiful. How fun to be able to celebrate your grandson's birthday. Time does fly and those birthdays roll around more quickly each year.
