Easter Sunday

 Happy Easter Dear Blog Readers...

How can it be the last day of March?  Tomorrow is my favorite holiday - April 1st - family beware! ha!

I managed to knit one row a day on the Crowberry Sweater...that took a while. The rows with three colors can be tricky.

My bobbles are not the best...the blue in the colorwork is a shade lighter than the blue of the sweater.  I played around with a lot of different combos, but liked this one the best.

Ruth finished up her beautiful Crowberry sweater. I just LOVE her color combos...and of course her knitting.

Martha has a start on the collar of her vest.  The yarn looks so nice and squishy!

She said  the directions are translated from German so it took her a while looking over the pattern to figure it out but she will be on her way again soon.

In other news:

Saw the kids today. My brother was sick and could not come. It was really weird having a holiday without him or mom here.  Things change.

In no particular order....some pics from the weekend:

We colored eggs at Tiffany's house on Saturday, using cool whip, and coloring in rice.  I loved the cool whip because they could eat it with no problems.

Basically, soak eggs in white vinegar for 10 minutes then dry.  Add cool whip to a container, and drop a few colors in and swird.  Add the eggs...give them a good rub down.  Let them sit for 10 minutes or so and wash the cool whip off.  The two darker eggs were done with rice. Put rice in a bag, add a couple drops of coloring and mix around.

Didn't want Jayce left out so randomly put dollops of cool whip in him while he ate strawberries.  :)

Tiffany brought rabbit ears for all the three kids.  I love this pic.

My three grandkids together!

Mason is obsessed with Charlotte. Jayce is obsessed with Mason.

Charlotte was rocking the pink yesterday!

Next week is going to be crazy here in Western NY.  Have you heard?  The solar eclipse is happening on Monday.  They are warning us to stay off the roads as there will be major road jams for hours because so many thousands of people are coming to see it.  They are saying to stock up on groceries...keep your gas tank full and stay home if you can. All schools in the area  are closed.  I am lucky that I get to work at home....phew!  We have eclipse glasses and are prepared.

Have a good week dear blog readers...

What sweet little grandchildren. I love the colors of all the sweaters. Your colorwork choices are terrific. We are not in the path of eclipse so will have to watch and read about it in the news. Good luck with all the commotion.
