It's Been A While

 Hi Dear Blog Readers....

It's been a while since the last post. Let's see what's going on!

Ruth, Martha and I went to Rhinebeck last weekend. It was a great show. Cold, but manageable. We've been to worse.

It's been a while since I updated you on the 2nd sock progress. I'm happy to say the end is in sight.

I'm using Blogger Jane's method of adding some ribbing rows to the bottom, with a smaller needle.

I have a pretty good start on Jayce's 2nd sweater. Ready to separate sleeves

I finished up the Everbloom sweater.

 Size 6 needes

Hudson Valley Fibers MOODNA yarn.  Color Mulberry

40% Romney / 60% Merino

I like the fit and it's easy to wear.

Ruth is working on her sweater.

She is working on the short rows right now.  It's so beautiful. I wish you could see it in person. Dream Sweater by Claudia Q of Eweknit

Martha is steadily working on her sweater.

We saw it this weekend and its beautiful.  She is working on size 2 needles. And has to do duplicate stitch after the knitting is done.

 In other news:

Tiffany and I went away overnight to go to the Jordan Davis concert. It wa sso fun.  It's been a while since we got to hang out with no interruptions.  The concert was great, but being with her was better.

Have a good week dear blog readers.

Short and Sweet is going to get shorter and sweeter

 Hi Dear Blog Readers!

A short update today.  I'm working hard to get the 2nd sleeve done so I can block the sweater and get it dry before we leave for Rhinebeck on Friday morning.  This is the actual color of the sweater. I find that if I put a knitted garment on a sheepskin, it shows the real color better.

Ruth worked on her sweater all week.  Look how beautiful and complex it looks.

Martha has no update this week (read between the lines, ripping!)  Hugs to her.

In other news:

I have a hard week coming up.  Travel for work Monday into Tuesday. Work Wednesday, Off Thursday to get ready for Rhinebeck, and Friday away we go!! Right now it sounds like Saturday will be much cooler  than it has been in a long time...but we have knitting to wear!

I haven't seen the grands this week...Miss all of them.

If I am able to post next week, it will be very short and sweet.

The following week, I'm going to a concert so not sure about posting that day either.

Have a great week dear blog readers.

October!

 Hi dear blog readers.....

It's October....already!

I had the usual busy week which was fine.  No walking still.

Bound off the body of the sweater and started the sleeve!  I could potentially get this sweater done before Rhinebeck...I think it would take a long time to dry after blocking--that is the biggest hurdle.

Ruth is making progress on her Rauwerk Trees sweater.  I think it will be so nice.

Martha continues on with her fun sweater!

In other news:

The weather was beautiful this weekend.  We dumped the summer flowers and put up the fall decorations.  I have a few things I want to do yet.

Have a  good week dear blog readers....what are you working on?
