Hi Dear Blog Readers!
It continues to be beautiful weather here in Western New York. Cool but not cold. Tree leaves are stunning.
I finally finished up the 2nd sock. This pair of socks took me longer than any other since I've been knitting them. I was having fun doing other things I guess. My blog friend Jane does some ribbing on the bottom of her socks, and she switches to a smaller needle for the foot. I love it and hope I remember to do it next sock. The fit is really nice. Not sloppy like some of my socks
Pattern is Row 1 K3, Slip one Row 2 knit
I'm very close to bottom ribbing on Jayce's sweater.
Mason wore his Buffalo Bills sweater yesterday.
Ruth is working away on her beautiful sweater. It's a ton of work, and she can't wait to start the sleeves.
Martha went shopping yesterday and found some Wooly Thistle yarn for a sweater. She could not find the right color at Rhinebeck. She also got some other yarn for hats.
She is happily doing stockinette on her fun sweater. Decreasing a few stitches because it seems so big.
My blog friend Jane mentioned this week that she was knitting with dark yarn and had to do it with good daylight. Jane have you ever heard of an Ott Light. Its one of my most prized possessions. Martha and Ruth turned me on to it. I dont have a fancy one. Plain floor model. It's like daylight. Not super pricey. I think my bulb is about 18 or 20 years old and have never changed it. You can find them in tons of stores.

In other news:
My company had a Halloween party at work 450 kids. Massive decorations on 6 floors. It was awesome. I took Jayce because he does not get a school party like the other kids.
He stayed overnight Friday which is unusual. So much FUN.
Have a good week dear blog readers.
