How can it be the last day of May already? Time is a strange thing. Especially as I get older.
I finished up the body of Jayce's sweater on Monday and ordered more yarn for the sleeves. Still not here, projected tomorrow. In my opinion, yarn should always be rush, overnight to your doorstep delivery. But, that is not real life...hahahaha I'm not binding off until fall when he will actually wear it.
Worked on the sock while I wait for the sweater yarn. Notice the ribbing on the bottom of the sock, per Jane.
I will take a proper picture when both are done but I have to say the fit is really nice.
Ruth was away last week. She sent this picture of her sweater sleeve. The purling is on the outside so she has to get used to it.
Martha joined the sleeves on her sweater. Looking good! I always forget how much knitting is left after sleeves are joined.
That's about it for this week dear blog readers.. we are spending time getting ready for summer.
