Ice Palace

 Morning Dear Blog Readers...

It is like an ice palace outside this morning.  We had a lot of freezing rain in the night and a bigbig branch fell off a tree in the front yard.

I have spent this week at the hospital with dad again.

Started a little shawlette....it's written so I can use all of the yarn which I love.  Yardage is 463.  Dancing Leaf Shimmy yarn.

I started socks with it but it is too pretty to be socks. And, I didn't really want to make another sock.  LOL

Free pattern on Ravelry - Easy Goes it.   The pictures are a little dark. It's very easy to memorize until I get to the lacey part.  Great hospital knitting.

On the rare evening that I was home I knit a few rows on the toe of the current sock.

Ruth is working on an adorable hat!  Colorwork!   Pattern is Roadside Beanie. It’s Oliver Henry’s pattern for Shetland Wool Week 2019. The yarn is Jamiesons leftovers from other projects

Martha has been sick all week so I suspect she did not  knit much.

No other news this week...I'm off to the hospital for the day.

Oh dear. I'm sorry your Dad is in the hospital again. Working, keeping up at home, and a sick parent is a hard combination. I hope the little shawl keeps you good company. Take care.
