Hi Dear Blog Readers....in the middle of the night we "sprung ahead" the clocks in New York. I know this week I will not feel very springy...the time change wipes me out for a bit.
A little knitting news:
I worked on the sock a bit. Just past the afterthought heel. I decided I needed to get these done..Totally sick of them. Luckily Hermione's sock pattern is easy to remember so easy to pick up and put down.
The sweater is coming along, or was coming along. Three rows back I knit the wrong pattern and did not do YO row to replace K2Tog row...oopppssss... no wonder count was off. Rows are very long since sleeve stitches are on there...hope to be back on track tomorrow.
Ruth got a big (giantly big) cone of yarn from Brooklyn Tweed imbue. color is Mosto. She wound it off the cone with her niddy noddy and washed it up. This kind of yarn needs a good wash before use. Look how beautiful it is!!!
Here is her sweater. Sweater pattern is Perfect Polo by Hinterm Stein. Yarn is Bartlett DK. The color is lilac heather. There is long patterning on the sleeves that she is about to start.
Beautiful colors....just stunning!
Here are the mittens Martha made for her son. Trigger finger mittens. She put holes inside the thumb and first fingers for texting.
In other news:
Tiffany's kids got out to play outside this week. So nice to get some fresh air.
Have a good week dear blog readers....come on spring!
There will BE NO BLOG NEXT WEEK. Joe and I are off for a long weekend.

It is wonderful when kids can get outdoors, when we can all get outdoors. The Hermione's sock pattern is a classic. You have lots of pretty yarn and knitting. Enjoy your weekend away.
