Working on it

 Hi Dear Blog Readers,

How is it Sunday again already!  Today is a beautiful day here in Western New York!

I managed to finish the first sock, and have just a couple rows of ribbing done on the 2nd.  For some reason I have severe 2nd sock syndrome with this one. Probably because there are a lot of cable rows.  Three cable rows for every 8 rows of  pattern, and each cable row has two cables in each 8 stitch repeat. But, it turned out great.  Pattern is In The Fluff

Ruth is just about done with the back of her beautiful Robins Nest Cardigan.

A lot of cables also!

Martha is done with the knitting on her Naima sweater by Annestrick.  She said the pattern was challenging at times. She bought the yarn in 2019. Jill Draper yarn Ansel Natural 3 colorway.  She just has to add cuffs and buttons.  It think it's just lovely!

Here is a picture of yarn she has planed for her Daytripper sweater. She will be starting that this week.

In other news:

Martha's dog Penny is relaxing with her on the patio.  Such a cutie pie!

Mason came over on Friday. Joe drove him around on the 4-wheeler, which he loved.

Tiffany sent me this picture.  Apparently he helps himself to zucchini  now. ???!!!

I woke up early  Saturday morning and was debating whether or not to walk. Looked out of the window and say the sun shining on the field and decided it was a sign...so I went and walked!

Joe and I went to Buffalo for the day/night yesterday to celebrate our 39th anniversary.  We watched horse races ate a LOT, and listened to this very good band on Saturday night. The lead girl singer was amazing.

Today we went to the Buffalo naval yard to see the USS Sullivans ship that was starting to sink in the Buffalo harbor.  This boat is the USS Croaker.

This is the USS Sullivans

Have a good week dear blog readers...stay safe and be kind.
